Turns out, in Jeff's time in Cleveland, he has found himself a girlfriend. Now, what should I do? Leave right? Move back to New York. Here's the thing, it's not going to happen. I've met her, the girlfriend, and I she's wonderful!
Before you think I'm crazy, let me tell you a little bit about her. She's so cute. A smile to die for. And her personality; she couldn't be sweeter. She is always carrying a smile around. It is especially noticeable when Jeff is in the room. Her eyes light up. They follow him wherever he goes. She craves his attention, even calling him "coach." She loves him. It is apparent. Does she love him more than me? I don't know. Hard to believe that is possible, but, she definitely does love him.
When he touches her, she always giggles. It's like he has a magic touch. She will even provoke him by raising her arms. When she wants him to touch her belly, she simply lifts up her shirt and exposes her belly button. Pretty bold, right? I think so. I mean, she does it right in front of me. However, I get a kick out of it. I can't help but adore her.
For Jeff, other than the fact that we both have gleaming personalities and adorable, room brightening smiles, this girl and I are quite different. Jeff has moved on from my long, thin (gangly) legs to short and pudgy. He has moved on from my sculpted (gangly) arms, to more jiggly arms. He has moved on from tickling my flat, rock hard (gangly) abs, to a soft, tubby little belly. My black, lifeless eyes have been replaced by beautiful, glimmering blue ones. And rather than my picky eating, this girl will eat anything, even beets and pickles.
This girl, in all her wonderful glory, is also younger than me. I am 27, she is about 22. Yes, a younger girl. All of 22 months old.
Didn't I tell you she was beautiful? How about those eyes? She's a doll! And just look that them together:
It's like their in their own little Coach and Leah world. I guess I can handle Jeff having a girlfriend, as long as by the time she hits double digits (in years not months), they break up!
